ＡＳＥＡＮ首脳関連会議（25～28日）
電子商取引のルール議論
東南アジア諸国連合（ASEAN）の首脳関連会議が開催されるにあたり，ASEAN域内の電子商取引（EC）のルール作りの必要性が注目されている．ASEANでは今まで域内の関税をほぼ撤廃し，シームレスな貿易を実現し，諸国の経済発展につながっているという成果が出ている．ただし，物の貿易だけでなく，人やサービスの移動の自由化もお互いの国の経済発展を促進させるために期待されている．そして，そのサービスの移動に関して注目されているのが，ECの利用である．ECを利用することで，時間や場所の制限なくB to B, B to C, C to Cの取引を円滑に進めることができるというメリットがある．ただし，不安視されている点として，情報の取り扱いのルールが確定されていないため，まだ誰もが安心して参加できる状態にないこと等が挙げられている．今後，ASEANの発展を促進させていくためには，ECを利用したサービスの自由化は不可欠となってくる．今回のASEAN首脳会談においての一つの議題として，ECのルール策定についての議論に注目したい．
Professionals from Japan and India brainstorm on future IT ties at Tokyo tech event
The relationship between Japan and India has been qute strong since 1952 as establishment of diplomatic relations, and the Japan and India vision 2025 special strategic and global partnership shows the strong tie between the countries. There are various policies and projects among the countries, and cooperation in technology field is one of the most important one. India is well known as the technokogy in such as bangalore, Mumbai, and Chennai, and Japan has a stregth about manufacturing high quolity products although the number of IT engineers are getting small. Hense, the collaboration of IT field would be effective for both countries so as to strengthen each potential.
